Month Two Photos
There are two new albums for pictures taken in the last month. I kept typing "Month One" which is an indication of how quickly the last two months have gone for me.
- Pictures that we took during the weekend of Andrea's baptism. Somehow, we missed getting a picture of Uncle Tom with Andrea. Perhaps another member of the paparazzi took one.
- Pictures that we took during the rest of the month. There are a couple that are technically in month three, but I couldn't resist including them now.
There should be at least one picture of Andrea smiling. She gave us her first real smiles on Friday 9 June. The evening of 12 June was interesting to watch Dylan and Andrea, as she was just smiling and smiling at him. And he was very pleased with the attention from her, although he acted very shy.

Two Months!
It's been two months since Andrea was born. She had her two-month well check up this afternoon. She continues to grow well. She is now 12 lbs, 4.5 oz which is at about the 90th percentile. She is 24.5 inches long which is above the 95th percentile. And her head is now 15 1/2" in circumference which is between the 50th and 75th percentiles. It was also the day of vaccinations; she received four shots in her legs.
Andrea's next well check will be when she is four months old.

76 Trombones
No, nothing related to the musical Oklahoma. Although there are some pictures of Dylan leading a band consisting of himself, Grandma, and Oma. The pictures during Andrea's first month are now edited and ready for your perusal. There are seventy-five of them, not seventy-six as the title suggests. And there's still more than half a month until the close of the next set.
As noted previously, time is now being counted as A.A. (anno Andrea) rather than A.D. (anno Dylan). The pictures will include those of all of us including friends and family. This month's pictures include:
- Andrea (of course)
- Dylan (of course)
- Friends from work who visited (Dave, don't worry; you'll be in month two)
- The visit from Oma, Opa, and Grandma

Not Savvy Yet
A Dylan anecdote from tonight to share:
Dylan and Geoff were outside after dinner. Dylan was showing Daddy how he could climb on the fence. Geoff told Dylan that he didn't want Dylan climbing on the fence. Later, when all four of us were outside, Dylan told us that we should go inside. When we asked why, his response was "I want to climb on the fence. And I don't want Daddy to tell me 'No'."
Smart. Probably too smart for his own good. But not yet savvy enough to get what he wants all of the time.

Nameless
Carolyn and I have reached the point in our lives where we are now nameless. We are no longer referred to by our first names or even formally by our last names prefixed with "Mr." or "Mrs." or "Dr." No, we are now simply "Dylan's Mommy" and "Dylan's Daddy." I suppose at some point we will be "Andrea's Mommy" and "Andrea's Daddy" as well.
